The thing about being single is sitting on my couch at 8pm listening to some music or watching a movie is frustrating. Cooking a dinner for one person sucks. Eating breakfast on a Sunday morning all by myself makes me feel like shit just as well. I mean, I do know that I can spend time on my own and enjoy it just as much. But I really crave having someone by my side who’s interested in hearing how my day was, who wants to cook with me or who is willing to watch those brilliant 80/90s movies with me. You know like all these little things that matter so much. Some sleepy good morning kisses. A little love note when you don’t expect it. Or just a cute smile knowing that you’re the reason behind it. Just someone being there for you after a hard day at work and knowing that you’re the greatest gift to them. I want to feel this way again. I really wish to. And if you know what I’m talking about your surely know how amazing it feels to love and to be loved in return just as much. But I’m pretty sure that better times are ahead. So keep your head up, keep your heart strong. Everything’s gonna be alright sooner or later! Believe in yourself.
